Do Your Kids Like Green Milk?
Mine love it. So what is "Green Milk"?
It is exactly what it sounds like. Some days it's Shrek's Favorite, other days it's the only thing the Incredible Hulk would ever touch. Either way, my kids will finish the entire glass. Food Coloring is a wonderful thing to keep in your house when you have children, expecially if you have picky children. Who wants to drink a plain old glass of white milk when you can enjoy a Pink Princess Potion? Milk is not the only thing that you can magically transform with food coloring. Have you ever eaten rainbow pancakes? Each of my children chooses their own color, pinches it into a bowl of pancake mix, and viola! Rainbow pancakes! There are quite a few healty alternitives that you can sneak into your child's diet with some food coloring and a creative name. Blue Applesauce - Fairy Soup
Red Apple Muffins - Cinderella's Cake
Green Alfredo Sauce - Green Slime
Blue Cauliflower - Clouds
Pink Mashed Potatoes - Princess Pudding
Blue Oatmeal - Superman's Breakfast - And the list goes on...
You are only limited by your food coloring supply and your own imagination. |
